New SailPoint IIQ deployment failed Day 1. Healthcare providers lost access to Epic systems and critical platforms, creating instant patient-care risk. AptusPAR performed a detailed persona and process assessment, focusing on the lack of standardized processes across multiple user types, not the tool, to enable a successful redeployment of the IIQ platform.

Had an event that compromised a privileged account. Their existing PAM tool didn’t integrate with endpoints that development needed, causing users to find other ways to keep development on track that circumvented security controls. Instead of just replacing this tool, AptusPAR identified a broader underlying security issue and recommended a holistic approach, as well as tools, that encompassed key constituencies, from HR to development.

A client-facing, revenue generating application experienced an outage while processing a large transaction. AptusPAR assessed logs and related configurations to properly harden the environment, as well as an understanding of previous crashes. Customized alerts were created for Application Performance Monitoring, the team was trained and ready for handoff, and negative-test cases were introduced and documented—preventing the avoidable and anticipating the unknown downtime scenarios in the future.
